ATC keep giving instruction to 'expedite descent 6000 ft' while cruising at FL370 for no apparent reason

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
After climbing to FL370 and cruising, ATC giving an instruction to expedite descent to 6000 ft for no apparent reason. The destination airport is still 1000 miles away. Is this a reasonable request?

Yes, and it continues to happen.

Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner

Moved out of Sim Update 3 Beta | MSFS 2024 > ATC, Traffic & NAVAIDs since OP indicated issue also happens in the Live version.

I just did the same flight this afternoon, and this time, no expedite descent order from the ATC.
(There was a request to expedite ascend from FLT370 to FLT380 which is normal.)
I have also previously received ATC instructions to ascend to FL350 when I’m below 10000 feet
and getting ready for approach.
