I actually appreciate this. ATC communications are now very clearly spoken. They talk to me like they know I’m a student pilot,
But that differs from what I hear in real life. Usually they go so fast they are running all their words together, with static on top of it all.

I actually do get static sometimes, if I’m far away from the transmitter or whatever. I like that effect too.
Yes, although the phonetics have a pause to them that real ATC runs together.
Mountains seem to impact static also from what I noticed. But ATC will still direct you into them.
Maybe it is just my old ears, but the number 4, when used with another number, is almost silent. Otherwise the ATC is pretty good.
