ATC reads waypoint HK862 as "862 Hongkong Dollars"

Brief description of the issue:

Flying the LAKU7W arrival to EFHK (Helsinki, Finland), ATC directed me to “862 Hongkong Dollars,” a rather unconventional but amusing way of pronouncing the waypoint HK862.

Fly the LAKU7W arrival, RNAV 33 approach.

I haven’t tried any other kind of currency/value-named waypoints, but I’m curious if similar currency+value-named waypoints triggers the same text-to-speech bug.

Mostly. Mine didn’t announce HK862. BUT, it did announce “Hong Kong Dollars 947” at the next waypoint. Definitely a bug, but strangely amusing. :rofl: :rofl: :thinking:
