Can we get rid of the repeated requests to expedite descent or climb, leave it up to the pilots to decide. We won’t learn how to fly correctly if ATC keep prompting. Very often the requests start before the autopilot has had the opportunity to action the pilot inputs to climb or descend. Realistically ATC will only prompt a pilot if there are valid reasons, such as conflicting traffic, or after a period of time has elapsed, so perhaps the time between the instruction to change level and a prompt can be increased, reducing any unnecessary RT.
