This issue has not been fixed whatsoever
Yes. This problem has been ongoing since SU5
Yes. I had the same issue today and had it resolved by changing the Baro to 29.92.
The ATC continuously mentioned to climb FL290 although i was in 29000Ft my baro was set to 30.30 as per the live Weather from Brisbane.
Resolved by changing the baro and atc gave climb FL330. SO after climbing to FL330, the ATC will not stop compalining to climb FL330
It is required to set baro to standard QNH (1013hPa or 29.92inHg) above the transition altitude as FL always refers to the standard QNH and not the local QNH.
So what you observed is not because of the bug but due to incorrect altimeter operation.
ATC is broken…
picture say’s it all American 2408 get’s told i’m at Fl 330
next message i must climb to get to FL300 ???
I have the same issue. I’m flying the A32NX at FL370 with QNH set to STD and ATC is still nagging at me to expedite my climb to FL370. I thought the ATC reporting incorrect altitude has already been fixed with the post SU5 patches.
the atc height bug was introduced with Su5 , atm i use this workaround : it’s hard to see in the picture but i have the barometric pressure at 29.20 at high altitude , the default 29.92 won’t work… i take off and leave the Bpressure at local and don’t switch to std / 29.92 , then adjust the baro pressure till ATC stop moaning about expedite your climb.
Yes, I’ve been experiencing this. Baro setting correct. Windows Store version.
Got to be the most annoying thing on the entire sim for me.
I only fly IFR routes so it’s unbearable after a while, end up muting the TV.
I’ll try the not auto adjusting the pressure to 29.92 and see if its any good. How this has not been fixed I don’t know haha.
Dear, I experienced it on Xbox since the beginning. But today after few days I didn’t play, issue seems solved!
Above FL180 I set standard pressure and ATC altitude is aligned with the real!
I even cross checked putting a wrong pressure and it ask me to set the standard one.
I have the same issue here. At first I was thinking that this problem had more likely to do with A32NX which I was flying than the simulatorm itself. But I´ve read some posts here saying that this may occur also with other planes. What I’ve noticed is the higher is your Flight Level the bigger will be de difference between your indicated altitude and the altitude ATC thinks you are. I was supposed to fly at FL320 and ATC did not stop to tell me to expedite my climb to FL320 and I was already there. So I´ve decided to gave up my FL and started to climb 100 ft by 100 ft. It was only when I reached FL348, 2800 above that ATC stopped. The descent was the same thing, but the differences became lower until I’ve reached around 5000 ft. , when the altitudes seemed to be resynchronized.
Today I noticed that no matter where I flew with live weather, the altimeter was always 29.92. Also ATC didn’t bug me to expedite my climb. Maybe that’s a prep for next update/fix for this
Today i flyed by cyul to go cyhz. Alt 29.69 and below fl180 i was at 29.67. I tried to let the plane at 29.67 and atc didn t told me to adjust my altimeter but when i adjusted to 29.92 he told me i m 800ft below…
So when i will travel i will keep my last QNH in memory and will be adjusted in my approach below fl180 until next update

Contrary to the promise this bug has not been fixed. I’m currently flying and the ATC bugs me to expedite my climb to where I already am.
I om ok!Everything works fine for me finally
I’m seeing some mixed results, can others comment whether or not this issue has been resolved with today’s update?
And if not, please provide details on your flight plan etc.
Thanks!
Well, i also thought it was not fixed, until i pressed b. Flying at 16.000
