That’s funny because I wanted the opposite. I’d been running with no ATC audio at all as a diagnostic process regarding CTD’s. Unless I left the ATC window open all the time it meant I would regularly get disconnected as I didn’t respond, but I could get the subtitles to appear at all, so I guess they are tied to the audio being enabled in the first place.
Moved to Community Support, basic gameplay.
