ATC voice (default)

Hi

Not sure if this is a bug or just a setting I have screwed up.

I’m on pc with msfs24, with the default ATC I can hear my pilots voice, but when I get any read back or instructions from ATC I can’t hear anything.

Is this a setting I need to change?

In your Sound settings, check the volume for Character Voices.

Everything is at 100.

I have had this randomly. Unless it is there often no dev will reproduce. The likelihood of this being fixed is probably zero.

Also check your aircraft radios and volume because many aircraft can control what you hear and the volume via the radios. Try tuning another radio in your aircraft to ATIS and see if you can hear the weather report.

I tuned to atis but couldn’t hear anything, I’m using the PMDG 737-800 (msfs24 version) I will have to find out where the volume knob is, perhaps it is that.

Found it !

centre pedestal, there is a row of knobs you can select, I had to press them.
