So I can really use some help:
For the last 6 weeks or so my ATC window has disappeared. The option for it is no longer in the handle bar, but it is contained in the options. This would be good news, except it’s off and greyed out which makes it impossible to change.
ATC always sucked, so for a while I thought it was part of an update. I figured they thought it was such a lost cause, they just disabled it. Tonight, I just happened to catch a player on Twitch and their menu and options are working just fine. What’s wrong with mine?
I have AI ATC selected and most flights it works, except for when it doesn’t. I could play the lottery and hit the number keys 1, 2, or 3 (hopefully in the right order) and it still responds and changes frequency and makes requests. It’s pretty hard to find the right combination when you don’t know the options.
In the Assitance options, I have ATC voices and the ATC menu open at start both enabled. I almost feel bad I thought the ATC was horrible because having no menus makes it exponentially worse.
Has anybody heard of this? If you could point me in the right direction for a fix or just offer some trouble shooting suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
