In career Mode, ATC won’t let me acknowledge their request. I’m sitting here after my landing in my PPL exam on the text way and trying to acknowledge what they said. It only lets me repeat their last transmission so I’m stuck and cannot get the exam done…
Also, if I have to do a backtrack on the runway for departure, I would have to stop at the displaced holding point. If I ask for departure clearance there I fail. If I just taxi onto the runway to the “holding short” which is being displayed at the threshold of the runway, I fail because I haven’t contact the tower for the departure clearance. It all doesn’t make sense. And German ATC by the way is all wrong. They say things I cannot even comprehend to understand. It’s like someone trying to talk in German without knowing the language. absolutely pointless.
Happened to me as well. Had to restart the exam. It worked the 2nd time, only to later get hit by an “unexpected error” and lost ALL the progress I had made. Will wait until this is fixed… someday.
Have had this issue multiple times. Did it on a VIP charter flight today and failed the mission because I couldn’t acknowledge. Hopefully they’ll sort it
Unable to acknowledge transmission if any ATC related issue occurs like overflying an airport (ON TAKEOFF… what???)
Crossing runways to meet the hold short point, as directed by the sim, will cause a runway incursion.
Landing on grass strips - really not obvious what is a grass stip, will fail you most times regardless.
Asobo, please please look more deeply at your procedurally generated missions. It’s not fair that we paid so much and have bugs so severe like this is a £10 game. It almost feels like this feature was a quick project by a small team and then suddenly turned into a main selling point but the building blocks were forgotten. If you’re going to use AI and procedurally generated stuff, make sure you set the rules right..
