Flying over airport @ 9000 Ft
Atis for that airport is giving winds (in ft/sec - know bug), but the winds it is giving are the winds at my current Altitude (Confirmed by simvars) and, not at the Airport altitude. (as given by metar)
- Atis Winds 224(mag) @ 49 (28 knots) !!!
- Metar 320(true) @ 10
Can it get any worse. ?
I’m not saying that that that information is not useful, but that is NOT what an ATIS does !!!
