Atlantic Crossing in MSFS 2020

I have been watching Flight Chops YouTube videos as he actually crosses the Atlantic in a DA-62. These are pretty fun and interesting videos to watch if you haven’t seen them. I reached out to him and offered to re-create the flight for him in MSFS 2020.

He has an open post on his patreon page where you are able to get the flight plan if you are interested in re-creating the flight. He does have a draw coming up for some Flight Controls from Honeycomb.

Ferry flying small aircraft is one of my favorite things to do on FSE. I actually ran a successful company on there for awhile before stepping away from simming. My most recent crossing was a C172 along the far northern route to bring her home from the US. If I recall, I routed via New York, Eastern Canada and Iqaluit before stepping off to Greenland. All good fun. My first ferry flight was actually a EA500 (small bizjet thingy) going WB. That was a similar routing.

Ahh the good ol days!
