Hi,
Anyone had any issues with the flight controls with the ATR 42/72-600?
I have the Logitech X56 HOTAS. Throttles and rudder pedals working normally, but the stick isn’t, so I can’t control the elevator and ailerons. Can anyone please help?!
I have checked all the bindings (fully working with other aircraft), emptied my community folder etc but still no joy…
Thanks in advance
same problem here, but with CH Yoke.
You could try this software:
solved the problem, for now…in the first flight it didn’t work. Now in the second flight, it works when I disconnect the throttle limitation.
I have the X56 software, and yes all working in control and all bindings correct. Also working with all other aircraft in the sim. Tried multiple restarts etc. Still no joy
Try turning off “Gust Lock” it’s the striped handle in between the throttles
Having the same issue with the Velocity One controller. No primary flight controls (ailerons or pitch) but pedals work ok. Nothing to do with any other controls. Have reinstalled software but problem still exists. Have tried different bindings but no joy. Note that keyboard num keypad (#6 and #4) work ailerons. Weird!

I noticed, that the yoke controls are locked if the Gust Lock (the small yellow-black lever between the throttles) is enabled. Click it to move it up and out of the way. Then the other primary flight controls will be available. No idea, if the real airplane also locks the yoke with the Gust Lock enabled.
I shall keep you informed as and when I get a solution!
That’s the ticket… Thank you!
See the below from @HaiKosinus028 - Whilst the Gust Lock is on, it won’t work. Very strange but that’s the solution
Thanks for the helpful advice. First time I had encountered a Gust Lock, read up and now understand its function.
im having the same issue gust lock is off and im only getting 72% power at full throttle and the EFB i don’t know how to calibrate my throttle to get me 100% power at full throttle
Had the same problem, solved it like explained in the solution post. Typical VFR flyer normally, so my brain is the size of a microbe due to watching nice graphics and not FMCs, screens and only blue sky. FYI, if you want to know what a gust lock is and does: Gust lock - Wikipedia
After reading this it’s self-explaining and also makes complete sense. And I guess the ATR is not the only aircraft sporting this.
How do you disconnect the Throttle Limitation?
there is a stick between the throtlle levels. Use the mouse to move it up.
Hi, I am also having same issue, even when the Gust lock is turned off, and the Idle Gate turned off. Just can’t steer the plane!
First time it happened to me… I’ve landed with everything working and when I set up for another flight only joystick TM A10 didn’t work. Pedals and throttle were ok. When checking sensitive curves every input is working.
I’ve restarted the flight, maintaining MSFS open, but no joy either.
Gust lock is not supposed to lock the skick, but to limit power lever to advance. For a while, when the throttle was not calibrate you would loose the hydralics at low power. I don´t remember loosing yoke controle though.
In my case all hydralic systems were ok but still I didn’t have stick control… really strange.
Well, I guess gust lock is now locking yoke. I unlocked the gust lock and it’s ok.
