Was in the ATR 42 climbing to FL190 , when it stop climbing at FL170. I had my altitude set to FL190 with no restraint’s. I tried to use the VS to 1000 FPM, but nothing happened. I could not gain more altitude and could not get anymore airspeed, even with max throttles. Then everything froze, could not push no buttons or change any thing. The simulator did not crashed, but nothing worked anymore. Anyone knows what happened ?
There is supposedly an update coming for the ATR42/72 next week when AAU2 is released so I suggest you wait until then, upgrade, then see if you still have the same issue.

There are a lot of variables to consider but when heavy this is not extraordinary, the ATR in every day operation doesn’t go much above FL170 / 180. It certainly won’t climb at 1000 ft/min at those levels. Maintain a climb speed of 160 kts on the ATR 42 and when it climbs no more, then that is your maximum level.
