[ATR 72-600] How to read FMS Transition Altitude externally with SPAD.neXt?

Title: Asobo ATR 72-600 – How to read FMS Transition Altitude externally / with SPAD.neXt?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to read the TRANS ALT (Transition Altitude) displayed on the PERF TAKE OFF page of the Asobo ATR 72-600 FMS in MSFS 2024, so that I can use the value in a SPAD.neXt script.

For example, the FMS currently displays:

TRANS ALT 5000FT

So far I have tested the following:

• Searched the MSFS Developer Mode Behaviors → Variables for TRANS and found no relevant ATR variable.

• Searched the Global variables for ALT. There are several ATR variables, including MSATR_FGCP_ALTSEL and MSATR_FGCP_SELALT, but these correspond to the FGCP selected altitude, not FMS Transition Altitude.

• Changing the FGCP altitude selector immediately changes those variables, confirming their purpose.

• Changing TRANS ALT in the FMS does not change any of the ALT variables found in Behaviors.

• Changing CRZ ALT in the FMS also does not produce a corresponding change in those variables.

• In SPAD.neXt, searching the available data definitions for TRANS does not reveal an ATR Transition Altitude variable.

My question is:

Does anyone know where the Asobo ATR FMS stores its TRANS ALT value and whether it can be read externally?

Is it available as an LVAR, BVAR, SimVar, calculator/RPN variable, or another ATR/FMS-specific data source that SPAD.neXt can access?

Ideally, I would like to obtain the actual value currently shown by the ATR FMS (for example 5000 ft), rather than independently determining the airport transition altitude.

Any variable name, RPN expression, or information about how the ATR avionics expose this value would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
