ATR 72-600 Multiple Sectors in VR Live-Streamed! | Multiple Legs Without Reloading Aircraft

Last night, we did a live stream with the ATR 72-600 flying some real-world Fiji Airways routes. We did three legs last night, all without reloading the sim or aircraft. In short, this aircraft performed very well. To do the multiple sectors, we did have to keep engine 2 running in hotel mode due to a bug that somehow disconnects the batteries from the bus and will not allow them to charge. But it worked and we were able to fly the three legs. We did one RNAV approach and two ILS approaches - one involving a late runway change due to shifting winds. And one approach to a VERY short runway

The aircraft performed well on the ground and in the air. VNAV worked… for the most part. But since we learned how to use the other AP modes, there were no major issues even when VNAV didn’t do exactly what we expected. GSX worked - sort of. Boarding was a bit odd with people walking in place and not actually boarding the airplane, but the pushback worked very well.

In short - this was a really fun live flight with lots of people in the chat and some beautiful Fijian scenery thrown in thanks to World Update 13.

It was a long one, so feel free to skip around to the setup, takeoffs and landings if you want to see how it performed in the various phases of flight. If you have any suggestions on procedures that will keep the batteries charging when engine 2 is shut down with ground power applied for a turn-around, please let me know. Hope you enjoy!
