ATR aileron trim should not be functional with AP engaged

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

When the autopilot is engaged, the aileron trim indicator changes from blue to white (correct). This means that aileron trim is inhibited, yet in MSFS you can manipulate the aileron trim with the autopilot engaged. This should not be possible.

Aileron trim can only be used with autopilot engaged when:

  • Pressing and holding the Touch Control Steering (TCS) button.
  • The autopilot senses aileron trim is needed, it then requests the pilot to do it. In such case the aileron trim is only functional in the indicated direction, on the FMA you will see “RETRIM ROLL L(R) WING DN”, on the EWD an amber roll trim symbol with cyan arrow.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Always.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Did you read my thread at all?

Isn’t that exactly what I wrote already right from the beginning:

Aileron trim can only be used with autopilot engaged when:
