I wanted to add a bit of detail. What is interesting is once the engines have been powered up and the props set to auto, thus enabling the AC electrical and hydraulic systems, once you shut them back down again, you can operate the Hyd Aux Pump button and the aux pump will run and pressurize the system.

The bug seems to exist in, perhaps, the electrical system logic from a C&D start and only by starting the engines and bringing the DC and AC systems online, does the circuitry for the aux pump get energized and the circuits closed allowing operation and it remains so for the rest of the session.

I am having the same issue this morning. As another note, I had gone from C+D and had disconnected ext power when it would not work. I then reconnected external power, hit the hyd aux again, and it worked. This seems to suggest some issues in the AC/DC logic or something. In hotel mode, I could press it all day and it wouldn’t come on until I reconnected ext power.
