Brief description of the issue:

When adding a DIRECT TO by manually entering a waypoint, the flightplan is cleared after insertion. After executing it seems not to be possible to get back to a flightplan that contains e.g. the arrival airport.
I encountered this today on VATSIM with a ATC direct to request and it was a mess afterwards.

Create a flightplan, add a manual DIRECT TO

ATR Direct-To new waypoint deletes entire flightplan

As MissTschai already reported: When adding a DIRECT TO by manually entering a waypoint, the flightplan is cleared after insertion. After executing it seems not to be possible to get back to a flightplan that contains e.g. the arrival airport. (ref: ATR Direct To clears flightplan)
This issue pops up when entering a new waypoint that has not priorly set up in flightplan.
Too bad, the former thread was closed already. So please consider to reopen that first report!
