Brief description of the issue:

Cannot load world map flight plan into the ATR

Creat flight plan in world map. Start flight, flight plan is not loaded into the ATR flight systems

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

Been a problem since initial release.

If you have a Simbrief account, (even a free one like mine) you can go to Simbrief, create a flight plan and then once in the aircraft, using the tablet, log in to Simbrief with your ID#. (Look for that in your account area) And then select the flightplan you desire in the tablet and it will load into the aircraft.

Or, If you have the PMS GTN750 (even the free version) you can create a flight plan in that and the aircraft will fly the course but the flight plan will not show up in the aircraft, only in the GTN750.

Or you can learn the system and manually enter it. Which is precisely why I will fly any aircraft that is study level and will take a Microsoft flight plan, but not those that will not. I’ll let someone else purchase those headaches.

I have hundreds of hours doing real life walk arounds and preflight checklist, and plenty of time in the cockpit but I am not willing to learn a system that has to be entered manually when the flight plan can be precisely replicated with SIDs and STARs etc… using MSFS 2020’s flight plan creation and the aircraft will not accept the simulators default flight plan.
