The prop brake selector is in the ON position, however after starting engine no 2 the propeller is spinning.
Am I doing something wrong? The prop brk light is not illuminated. After shutting down the engine and switching the prop break off and on the light illuminates.
You may need to push a button for hydraulic pressure on the center pedestal to make the prop brake work, in case the system is not pressured yet. Then it should work and the prop brake light will be illuminated.
Not sure how it is in reality but I have no reason to believe it is not. Makes sense somehow to manually pressure the system first as long as engines and hydraulic pumps are off.

Yes, that’s how it works IRL. You need to pressurize the blue hydraulic system for engaging/disengaging the propeller brake with the AUX pump if there’s no sufficient pressure in the system (practically every time).
