ATR vertical modes are very clunky

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

The aircraft responds way too violently to vertical mode changes (e.g. changes IAS target or VS target). It shouldn’t respond using pitch rates an F16 would be jealous of, it should be more fluid.

Always.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

In IAS, VS or PITCH modes, change the target and note a very clunky and aggressive response.

Completely agree, although your example is fairly tame compared to some of the manoeuvres I’ve seen it do. Guess it must be the autopilot from Airplane! at the controls :joy:
