ATR - When Flying in Clouds they "enter" the cockpit

I find that when I am flying in clouds (in both the 42 or the 72), the mist or cloud enters the cockpit and affects the visuals.
I attach some screenshots taken at night, but it is the same in the daytime.

That’s the problem with opening doors and windows, – they can be left open !!

Never seen that in any other plane, and I do not have the ATR, so I have never seen it.

Although I have seen it “Rain” in quite a few Hangars… but always made the excuse that the roof must be leaking :scream:

Hello @LabVirtual,
Please do not delete the bug template when logging bug reports. It is supposed to filled out. I have moved your post to Aviate, Navigate, Communicate.

Spooky!!

10 characters.

@LabVirtual Looks to me like the landing/taxi light attached to the nose gear is still remaining active when the gear is retracted, and you’re seeing the volumetric cone from that shooting upwards through the cockpit. Do you still see it with gear down?

But they look fantastic

Hi:
One other issue I have, is that all the external lights are always on, regardless of the key positions in the cockpit.
I will try a flight in clouds with the gear down to check your comment.
Thank you!

Hi:
Just in case I had that messed up, I checked and all windows and doors are always closed before flight.
Thanks for the comment!

Just had a flight in the ATR 72-highline and still experienced a cloudy cockpit.

No windows or doors were open and it happened consistently, so shouldn’t be hard to reproduce.

From the lack of posts complaining of this, I am starting to wonder if it’s just me suffering from this one.

I don’t have any doors or windows open and the pressurised cabin appears to still be intact, so does anyone know how else this could happen?

Maybe I’ll just do a reinstall of the ATR, just in case the recent update, for my system, was somehow flawed.
