Hi folks,
just yesterday I was able to complete my first complete IFR flight with the FBW A32NX.
I am generally a GA back country guy, so this was really new for me and I had tons to learn.
The flight time was only an hour but the whole thing took me almost 3hours with reading and understanding the FBW Website and learning as I was going.
Anyways, I purchased both Airports from Flightbeam (They look stunning) and the ORBX NZ mesh and startet her up.
I had a marvelous time and a wonderful rewarding feeling when I set her down very gently using the airplane‘s auto-land feature.
I had tons of fun and for sure this was not my last flight.
See you in the skies!
Here are some impressions:
Getting Ready at the gate
Ready for Take-Off in Auckland
Flying the SID to Kaarl Waypoint
Enroute with the South Island in view
Turning into final towards Wellington
Made safely to the gates - shutdown.
