So I just deleted my rolling cache per many user suggestions on this topic:
I loaded up into a couple different scenery heavy airports with the Fenix A320 and all seems fine again for now. I had my rolling cache set to 200GB and just increased to 250GB. It seems when it hits its limit this starts happening, at least in my case.
We have been plagued with rolling cache issues since the beginning of MSFS 2020. I ultimately had my rolling cache completely disabled in 2020 and never had issues again. However, MSFS 2024 does not give you this option for now - hopefully we get it when we can download (and not stream) packages.
Asobo, please pay heed to these topics. You clearly have some optimization to do here. You’ve thrown this to the wayside for far too long and now we’re forced into using rolling cache in 2024.
