I had the same issue, went as far as trying 3 different sound processing solutions with no success.
Finally solved my sound issue by moving the cache file to a different drive.
I tried a different partition on the same drive as the installation with no success. This only worked for me by putting the file on a completely different drive.
Asus Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi
Bios ver.3222
Ryzen 9 9900X
64Gb DDR5 @6600Mhz
Nvidia RTX 4090
Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo
Saitek Combat pedals HAL Upgrade
Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS Joystick & Dual Throttle
Meta Quest 3
I have the same problem
i9-14900
64GB RAM
Nvidia 5070TI
The processor hits 100% and there’s a rattle coming from the speakers.
But this only happened about 10-20 minutes after the flight started, never at the beginning.
No change at minimum, medium, or high resolution.
No change from processor assignments or uninstalling the Nvidia sound driver.
It’s such a shame, it’s just not much fun.

Has this been fixed still for you? I have my RC set to a different drive too but still get these audio cracklings/pop. I’ve pretty much stopped using MS24 cuz of this.
This, and starting Meta Link as well as enabling my headset after the simulator loads.
Even on my high-end system I still get stutters as scenery loads, but the crackling and popping is under control.
You can also disable GPU Accelerated Scheduling (also known as Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling).
Many have success with this solution alone.
I heard that crackling in an earlier SU2 Beta, but only twice, and not since. No idea what caused it but I assume it was something that has since been resolved in the later beta releases.
