Audio popping/crackle in MSFS 2024

I had the same issue, went as far as trying 3 different sound processing solutions with no success.
Finally solved my sound issue by moving the cache file to a different drive.
I tried a different partition on the same drive as the installation with no success. This only worked for me by putting the file on a completely different drive.

Asus Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi
Bios ver.3222
Ryzen 9 9900X
64Gb DDR5 @6600Mhz
Nvidia RTX 4090
Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo
Saitek Combat pedals HAL Upgrade
Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS Joystick & Dual Throttle
Meta Quest 3

I have the same problem

i9-14900
64GB RAM
Nvidia 5070TI

The processor hits 100% and there’s a rattle coming from the speakers.
But this only happened about 10-20 minutes after the flight started, never at the beginning.
No change at minimum, medium, or high resolution.
No change from processor assignments or uninstalling the Nvidia sound driver.
It’s such a shame, it’s just not much fun.

Has this been fixed still for you? I have my RC set to a different drive too but still get these audio cracklings/pop. I’ve pretty much stopped using MS24 cuz of this.

This, and starting Meta Link as well as enabling my headset after the simulator loads.
Even on my high-end system I still get stutters as scenery loads, but the crackling and popping is under control.
You can also disable GPU Accelerated Scheduling (also known as Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling).
Many have success with this solution alone.

I heard that crackling in an earlier SU2 Beta, but only twice, and not since. No idea what caused it but I assume it was something that has since been resolved in the later beta releases.

I have this also. PCL. Been going on for months

If you follow every step in this YT-video the sound stuttering will disappear. You will have to do this everytime after you update your Nvidia- graphics driver, as far as I have experienced.

Nonsense. Technically questionable, impractical, mostly useless. Optimizing around something so poorly programmed is a waste of time.

Asobo and Nvidia needs to have a serious talk.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Intermittently, some time all the way, some only a little, others in take off, others middle flight, others on the rescue position, start and stop with no notice, but some times it get lower or higher depending the direction you look.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• It’s not attached to quality, because i tried with ultra, high, low configs, dlss perf, balanced and quality modes, and it get the same pops. But i thing it have to be with regions, cause i did some missions in the same place, and it got the same effects near the same proximity.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
• I Have a lot of flights in mission on my YouTube Channel, i believe more than 75% of than have some pop in sound, and almost 50% got worst and ditch to some mute in between.
Here some:

Draco X (But i cut off the worst parts of the pop/mute

An some with H.125 (but is not craft dependable, happens in any)

EDIT: I did the most common comment here, that is deleting the NVIDIA audio drivers (i just disable it) and my first flight in the Chile with Draco X, where the others pop up happens a lot and it runned smoothy. But that as only one flight. And the region was not exactly the same, was more south this time. I will keep updating here to be sure.
