This isn’t the first time this has happened but this particular time it is not letting play the sim at all! I bought the premium edition and now it’s telling me I don’t own it!

Friend of mine ( @STEU3R ) had this yesterday (Friday, 2022-12-02) all day long.
He was able to play again today after he did something to his account I don’t remember.
But after being able to play again, lots of his setting (I remember it was the keyboard setting at least) got lost!

I’m a non-steam PC user and I’ve had this happen. One fix is a system reboot.
The simplest fix is to close the game, reboot, and get a cup of coffee because sometimes the authentication servers are slammed. A few minutes later, things are just fine.
I’ve had to do a reinstall of gaming services and digital ownership on a few occasions too.
The worst case scenario is having to reinstall the entire game because an update install goes all pear-shaped. I copy the entire old installation, (rename the folder) to save all my preferences and settings first. However I hope you don’t have to do that as it vacuums thoroughly.
