This topic probably has already been covered however, since I have recently experienced it, I thought I would share.
I filed an IFR flight plan to an airport in the TBM930, While on final approach , I noticed that my altitude looked too low for safe approach. I rechecked my altimeter and glideslope indicator, all good. This is where in a real aircraft, I would take over controls and disengage autopilot. Since this is a simulator, I let the approach continue. Bad idea on my part, as we hit the trees.
Is this normal for the sim? Usually when I visually acquire the runway, I take the controls manually. Remember in flight school, they teach us " to believe your instruments". I would appreciate any input.

Where was this? Which approach?
Often times, we see in-sim trees improperly encroaching into the obstruction clearance plane. If that’s the problem, the best way to fix it is either third-party scenery or the World Hub (when it comes back).
KEEN. That’s exactly what happened. Honestly, it has happened at several Northeast airports in the Mountains of New Hampshire.
The airport is in Keene N.H. , Dillian Hopkins. Thanks for the advice!
I see you’re on XCloud. Unfortunately, there isn’t a good solution for this, but if you ever move to PC, try 4Simmers Realistic Tree Height add-on. Works wonders according to some of my summer circle.
