Auto Pilot And NAV mode

All of a sudden I can not get my planes to follow the NAV/GPS flight plans. Never had trouble before. Haven’t a clue what is causing this. Not doing anything wrong and have hundreds of hours so some thiing is causing this. Any ideas?

What Navunit (G1000/3000/3X/530/430)?

Are you using Working Title or PMS Mods for it?

If you mean you are setting a start and finish on the World Map and then trying to track on VFR , I was getting the same problem.
Also the start and destination were not correct in the Garmin.
Someone suggested using IFR , low altitude airways with a few waypoints and it works as it used to.

Where did you create your Flight Plan? i.e. Little Navmap etc. SU5 has changed something in the World Map Flight Planning. It adds some automatic way points (Time Climb, Cruise, Time Descent, etc.) which you cannot delete. If you do a VFR flight loaded from Little Navmap, for example, the airplane will not follow the flight plan. If you create the flight plan in the World map it does seem to follow the flight plan, but still inserts these automatic way points which you have no way to control. I wish they would get rid of these automatic way points, or else give us an option to turn them off.

I am having the same problem since Update 5 and fix . If I want to go from point A to point B and type that in on the initial world map screen, the autopilot will get me there, but it doesn’t follow the red line on the GPS screen. When I take off, I try to point the aircraft in the general direction of my destination “B” before I engage the autopilot. It is unnerving now when I engage the AP and the aircraft turns in a completely different direction before finally turning toward “B”. This seems to occur in all aircraft. MSFS is working well for me otherwise, and I’m getting 60 FPS. Incidentally, I just take short trips with no waypoints.
