I can’t understand why and how to fix this but all my auto pilot are dead.
In the cessna 172, regular and G1000 vertions and solme other plane i’d test, everytimle i push on the “AP” button it does not works.
Sometime it works for 3 sec and after it blink 3 times and cut off.
I’d tryed in all possible mode and there is nothoings working.
YES i KONW how to set a autopilot (or the 2024 version is like never other one.
In 2020 i have n,o problem.
??? whats the probl ???.
Prior creating a bug, my recommendation is to wait for community assistance. If it was a spread issue with autopilot in all aircraft, it would have been reported by many users. Maybe you have a binding conflict ?, have you tested with default controllers profile and disconnected you controllers if any ?
There is an existing report, if you think it is the same, feel free to participate there to avoid duplicate reports: but Autopilot not working in many aircraft
In order for a bug report to be valid, other users need to be able to replicate it, so please provide as much information on your settings, controllers you are using.
If you have any controllers connected. Disconnect them and try with keyboard only and see if you still have the issue. If the AP works fine, introduce your controllers one at a time till you find the culprit. You have a control conflict/and or binding issue.
MSFS2024 Today my TBM930 AP is not working.
Unable to select it
( 1000+ Hours TBM930 )
AP in my 172 garmin 1000 does not work either.
Im not creating a bug report.
There are too many to even bother this time.
Ive had wing walkers on my 400, forklifts stuck in the cement on the taxiway, no way to respond to ATC, Trim not working on several planes, flightpath at 3000 ft but mission asking for 11000 ft, trees on the runway… learn to live with it.
Did you forget to turn the servos on (top right of overhead)?
Don’t understand why it wouldn’t. It works just fine on my end.
I use a button on my yoke to toggle the autopilot.
Thank’s Maki152
As I 'm a more than 1000 hours TBM930 pilot, I never forget to switch on AP/Trims
Today same problem. Seem to be due to Simbrief PLN. Why ? Don’t know ?
PLN is listed in left GTC but none indications appear on the MFD upper line
Strange !
It’s not. I tried it and it works fine.
Do you have any controllers connected? This sounds like a controller/binding conflict.
Basic variability troubleshooting.
Disconnect all custom / specialty controllers and try only using KB/Mouse and virtual cockpit controls. Does problem persist?
After disconnecting ALL controls and using only Keyboard and Mouse. The Autopilot still does not work. Will there be a fix for this. It was working before the last update.
The problem is the MSFS 2024 should not have been released. It is filled with bugs. Will MS give a refund?
What problem are you having exactly? You simply can’t engage it? I don’t think this is a MSFS 2024 problem. I was using it just a few hours ago as I was eating my Whataburger and it worked fine.
EDIT: I just took this screenshot. Pressing the AP button on my yoke and joystick, keyboard shortcut (TOGGLE AUTOPILOT MASTER), and AP button on the GFC 700 itself works…

I’ve got the same problem for month, the auto pilot never goes on. every thinks i test are not working.
Post a video - might help. Also show Flight Plan on the MFD.
For example, when I try to press the Autopilot Button On, it automatically turns Off. Every time I press On, it goes to the off position. It keeps flashing TO TO.
It was working fine before the last update and MSFS 2020 works fine.
I was using it in the Beta branch yesterday.
I have a video, but the video won’t attached. I sent you the link on YouTube.
