I still can’t believe this problem has not been resolved!! At the very least make it look like the taxiways are powered by more tha a 2 watt light bulb!!
I know there is a mod that adds the lights around the terminals. Problem is it clashes with some of my payware and freeware airports.

It’s insane that there isn’t some basic solution to what is such a glaring shortcoming in the sim. Autogen terminals and gates are completely unusable at night.
I mean really, how hard would it be to add 1 position and 1 flood light to every autogen gate? Not the prettiest solution but effective.

as I said before maybe it will be fixed in the new sim MSFS 2024
as you said it would be simple to write a script to add 1 flood light to every autogen gate for the whole sim at least for all major airport
