Hi everyone, I’m having a problem with the autoland on my A330. I was practically arriving at Turin Airport, which, according to the approach papers, is also equipped for ILS CAT 2. So I wanted to test the plane’s autoland. Well, I configured the plane for landing, I also set the radio altitude, and the plane gradually approached the runway. Except that almost at the runway, instead of flaring, the plane started to lower its nose, almost as if the autopilot had disconnected. Why? What am I doing wrong?
I think you need CAT III ils and you must have auto spoilers armed.
