Automatic pause #xbox

Hello Simmers, I‘m currently using the ms2020 on the xbox witth the latest updates and I noticed that every few minutes the simulator does an automatic pause in the game. This was from the beginning when the sim was released for xbox. Long Haul flights are not possible as long this bug is still there. The worst thing about the automatic pause is that after getting back in the game the plane has 0kts speed and begins to stall and begins to roll really bad.

Question: is there a setting to swith of this automatic pause or is there any other chance to fix it?

I don’t think anyone has a “final solution” but if you search the forums there are allot of posts on this already with suggestions.

  • Plug in controller
  • Plug in a mouse
  • Check automatic shut off etc settings

Pause is flakey in FS2020, often causing ‘death spiral’ stalls. To stop needless pauses-

Quick solution - on XBox go to
Xbox Home > Settings > Preferences > Idle options
Uncheck “Show me things when idle”
