Might need more information about this from you. Managed mode requires a full flight plan to be programmed and loaded into the MCDU. So, you might need to provide some evidence like a video, ideally. But if a video is difficult, at least a screenshot to show the process that you’ve done to prepare the aircraft for departure including setting up your flight plan in the MCDU, your performance parameters, etc. Then to see if the managed mode still not working even after you have entered all the procedures correctly.

Same problem here, can’t switch back to managed if I use HDG for a while… same goes for V/S management. Push/pull buttons doesn’t change anything. And yes with a good Fpl loaded, I i don’t touch anything everything goes well but if If switch to HDG, I can’t go back.

It might be an error on my behalf but here is a video.

ALT won’t go into managed mode unless you’re in LNAV (Managed HDG mode). Your track needs to be towards the FP track to engage Managed HDG. Use HDG to aim towards your active FP leg and try again.

I tried to do a flight again today and there were not bugs, however it seems like I am lacking experience in this aircraft so the bug I reported was a error on my behalf.

I have the same problem with heading, if I put selected I can’t go back to managed

Its a minor bud, I agree you should be able to go back to managed, but you can get around it by going back to your MCDU, click on direct, and click on the waypoint you want and then click the blue * waypoint to activate NAV to go direct to it and follow your flight plan again.

good day i have the same problem. at this stage i cannot operate the MDCU at all i have no experience. i have inputted a flight plan before i started flying on the simulator then clicked “go fly” so i need to understand, is there no way i can fly the plane via my flight plan on the sim on AP. i know you can fly via heading mode and that i have sorted out but its just so much better to fly via AP. your assistance will be appreciated as the Inibuilds V2 flys so much better Im on xbox series s

No, it won’t follow or upload a flight plan from your world map. The best way is to create a Navigraph account (free) and create your flight plans there. When you have a Navigraph account, you can add your Simbrief/Navigraph id in the A320 and download your flight plan straight to the FMS.

Check out A330driver’s tutorials on youtube, it will certainly help you

thank you i willl do that

A number of aircraft are considered study aircraft, so you have to do things as you would in the realworld. Hency why the flight plan doesnt get copied across.

i have loaded a flight plan into my sim brief and saved it so now when i will try my flight later tonight i will see how to do it on MDCU. im not sure if you can load the flight plan from sim brief on xbox. i have heard of people complaining previously that it does not work on xbox. hopefully it works

it works… when you are ready import it, load up your saved flight plan in simbrief and “generate” it.

Then when you are in the plane… go to the efb options you want to add you simbrief numeric pilot ID using the efb keyboard, not the xbox keyboard (there is an option for that in the efb). Then in the MCDU MENU goto ATSU and enter your numeric pilot ID there too. Now go back to the efb and import simbrief it should work. You still have to choose your runways and sids/stars in the flight plan page, but the rest of your route will be there.

Just as @Luvbeers wrote, it deffo works on Xbox.
Just one more tip - after you load it and add SID/STAR, check your flight plan for discontinuities and errors.

hi guys thank you so much for your help. ok so i made the flight plan on sim brief imported it to the tablet and then uploaded it on the MDCU also i did put in my Pilot ID so that is good. i then started flying but think i slipped up in this respect because in flight it even shows the flight path but it does not follow the path when i put it in AP. what am i doing wrong. is it because i missed items on the MDCU or is there something i must do to initiate the flight path whilst flying. im almost there loading the flight path to the MDCU was a great success so far but still have some working and research to do. any help will be appreciated thanks guys

Possibly missing runway and SID information and/or FP discontinuities.

Have you looked through the manual? Walk through guide starts on Page 43.

probably that. so my question is just if all items are inserted and i took off how do i make sure it follows the flight path is there something i need to do while flying to initiate the flight path or will it just be by pressing AP?

See page 64 of the manual I linked to above if you think you’ve got all the data entered correctly and you just want to confirm you’re in the right modes.
