Autopilot disengage button PMDG does not move, correct?

Hello,

I mapped my yoke to the disengage autopilot control, and it works.

But, when I press the working key on my yoke, the A/P disengage bar does not move. While other buttons are pressed in the plane when you push the yoke buttons. Also it does move when operate with the mouse button.

It is just a minor issue, but I rather see the A/P disengage bar move.

Do anyone of you experience the same thing? Or did I mapped the button to the wrong key control?

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Greetings,

Boudewijn

I could be wrong here, but the A/P disconnect button is on the yoke, and that is what is toggled with the key bind.

The A/P disconnect bar is a completely separate item, and is not mapped to any key bind as far as I know.

Ok, yeah that is possible. Too bad, thanks for the anwser though. If anyone knows any other solution please let me know.

Why do you still need a solution? Just use soft disconnect button on the yoke like pilots do in real life and don’t worry about the disconnect bar.

The disconnect bar is not used in normal operations. The only time it is used is when things are not normal and you only flip the bar when the QRH tells you to do it.

Hello, interesting, I did not know that. So the pilots only use the button on the yoke then right?

Greetings, Boudewijn

Yes, only the button on the yoke. The disengage bar is never used in normal operations.

Thanks, interesting. Greetings
