Deicing and pitot heating
(in particular pitot heating must be On to keep your speeds readings working)
You need to do some configuration in your settings:
-
Set flight model to modern, not legacy.
-
Set assists to Hard/True to Life
-
AI Copilot OFF all the time.
-
Add deadzone of 5-10% or more to all your control axis…
-
Activate your Windows.
What do you mean with Al copilot?
And were is the pilotheat?
And i have this pc only for a few days.
AI Copilot is a feature of MSFS that has an separate AI to control the aircraft for you. This is useful for people learning to fly and want to let the aircraft flies itself. But since this is a separate systems, it tends to have a mind of its own. Which may contradicts with your setup of the autopilot systems. So it’s best to turn it off.
Either you let your AI Copilot has full control, or not at all. Don’t use both autopilot with AI copilot control.
I did turn it of but i still have the same problem.
I turned all AI of.
And it is working with all other planes.
Were is the pilot heating in the 320?
Did you ensure you have a deadzone of approximately 5% on each of your controller’s axis as Neo recommended?
Pitot, not Pilot.
You are not heating the pilot, you are heating the pitot tube.
On the overhead panel. Exactly in the middle above the APU Master Switch.
But you won’t need to turn that one on. It should work automatically and most definately has nothing to do with the autopilot flying strange circles it is not supposed to fly.
In the default A320, it must be turned on, which is completely wrong!
I agree, it shouldn’t cause that to happen, regardless of the pitot heat.
Yes it is at 5%. Idk, maby its a bug. I do step by step by videos but nothing will work at the Airbus.
I turn the AP on and it starts circeling…
Do you have anything in your Community folder?
If so remove them all (or just rename the Community folder, then restart the sim, MSFS will make a new one) and see if it still happens.
Make sure Assists are Hard/True to life as well. And try to add deadzone to 10% instead see if that helps.
It is empty but i deleted it.
Now it flew a few miles. But then it started to fly in circels again…
And after the restart it was not able to find the way again… and the circels are allways to the left.
But only in the airbus.
What are you using for a controller?
Yes. An Xbox Controller via Bluetooth.
You may need a bigger deadzone, if 10% doesn’t help, leave it at 5%
I don’t think it’s a bug, or it would be very common.
When you say you are doing the step by step videos, is this the MSFS Airliner Training, A320 take off tutorial?

Falls du Probleme mit Englisch haben solltest, kann ich dir gerne per Privatnachricht in Deutsch weiterhelfen!
An Xbox one Controller.
And my LT deadzone is allways at 0%.
Is that normal?
Ja, das Problem besteht noch.
Wie sende ich die denn eine privatnachricht?
