AutoPilot Randomly Crashes the Plane

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Autopilot Randomly Crashes the Plane mid-flight.

I am on Xbox and within the last two days, each time i’ve flown in career mode, within a few minutes of enabling the autopilot, it randomly freaks out, sets the pitch to 100% then disables the autopilot, yet nothing I do allows me to regain control of the plane. I’ve failed a few missions as a result of this, and I’m almost certain something similar happened with my 172 Skyhawk but I sold it due to it being wrecked in the crash.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
I have experienced it numerous times with the PC-12 NGX, once with the Cessna Caravan 208B and once with the Cessna 172 Skyhawk.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

• I am using the A330 GE and have the flight plan set up perfectly, the plane flies as if its working and then about 10 minutes in it crashes mid air as if it collided with an object (probably not likely at 18000 feet above an ocean). it auto restarts at a (safe) point but reduces the throttle and sets flaps while also setting autopilot to off.

During the descent phases, the game indicates that my plane crashed when nothing special happened before! This happens as a freelancer as well as an employee.

Hi there I did notice today while doing a career mode in a cessna 172 that just before landing that my left fuel tank was flashing and telling me it was empty. No notice just flashing on the g1000 If i hadn’t noticed i would of crashed out just before the finish, So i swapped to the other tank and finished the career mode. So just keep your eye on the G1000 for alerts.

That’s interesting, the same problem exists on the PC too. Here it’s mostly in connection with various hotas sticks, throttle levers and the autopilot. In the autopilot the plane eventually has a life of its own and does what it wants.

Made a bug report few days ago but mine is after a long flight when I turn off auto pilot trim is uncontrollable… changes wildly in either direction with little to no input… always after coming out of auto pilot intentionally at least in my case… but if I turn off auto pilot just after a few minutes everything is fine… it’s only when I do it prior to landing…
