Autopilot

Hi all, I have a question… These 3 are autopilot but what’s the difference?

Also for the ALT, when I change and press hold it doesn’t actually do anything.

Strictly for redundancy.
Generally only one is used, but in some circumstances, such as RNav approaches, multiple A/P’s are used for better accuracy.

As far as the altitude goes, changing the altitude requires you to set a mode to use to get to the new altitude.

Alt HOLD holds the current altitude, literally.

Boeing AP is completely different from Airbus. For the altitude you can either select VS, Flight Level Change or VNAV.

It will not work just by pressing the Knob.
