I just bought a Rugged Air RA200 aviation headset to use for my real world private pilot training, and would like to practice ATC communications with it on VATSIM. Is there a good cheap adapter cable that I can use? I see that there are hundred dollar ones but I would prefer as cheap as possible.

I don’t know about cheap (or your budget), but I have the FSX Dual. They also have a solo adapter here as well SOLO Aviation Headset USB Adapter - Flight Sounds Ltd

The build quality is top notch on the fsx dual. My goal is to do a few pilotedge flights with my wife to teach her the comms so she can do the radio work sometimes during IRL flying.
Bought FSX Dual a while ago and been using it with my rugged air headset. Pricey, but definitely worth the purchase to help me practice radios on VATSIM in-between real-life pursuit of the private pilot license.
