Aviator Edition packages showing in Premium Deluxe Edition, post refund


ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

I refunded the Aviator Edition on Steam shortly after launch due to the widespread issues with the sim. I repurchased the sim today, but decided to go with the Premium Deluxe Edition instead.

Upon loading into my library, I notice that the Aviator Edition packs are still there. They were all disabled, but I was able to enable at least one of the aircraft and use it in free flight.

I take it this isn’t normal. I don’t wish to be inadvertently using aircraft I’m not entitled to use.

I left a ticket, but it immediately changed to ‘solved’, so that’s not filling me with confidence.

I think I might just refund again and go back to my original plan to buy the Aviator Edition. I just hope that if I do that, my content won’t get revoked by support due to the original ticket request.

There seems to be a clear disconnect between the Steam version and the entitlement system. I had issues with the CL-415 preorder bonus too. :roll_eyes:

The zendesk “solved” status is confusing, it does not mean that you ticket has been resolved but more likely they received your request, hopefully support desk should contact you to provide some feedback.

I’ve put in another refund request with Steam for now.

I probably won’t repurchase until I hear back from support as I’m a little bit stuck in the middle…I don’t want to be accused of using content that I’m not entitled to, by continuing to use the Premium Deluxe Edition, but at the same time I don’t want the same content removed if I rebuy the Aviator Edition. :face_with_spiral_eyes:
