Brief description of the issue:

If I toggle out of MSFS to say another app like Edge, when I toggle back in the avionics shuts off (reboots), engine shuts off etc. I lose my flight plan etc.

Alt tab to another app while msfs is running and the tbm is at flight level on autopilot, then toggle back and click the screen…enjoy your crash landing.

Check your keyboard bindings.
Something is probably set to battery off or generator off.

Mostly what happens if I don’t touch the screen for a little while, and go back to it then it goes into some kind of shut down either the engine cuts out or the avionics reboot. I can replicate it over and over again

Honestly I give up. I did a complete re install and the same issue occurs, about 40 minutes into flight if I haven’t touched the PC, the minute the mouse goes over the screen either the engine cuts out or the avionics reboot.

I’ll see MSFS in 2024, I am off to X-Plane 123, at least that sim works.

If you have a Honeycomb Alpha yoke, check to see if your ignition key is turned completely to the right in the start position. Same issue happened to me once.
