My experience has been great with FS2024. I was surprised how well it performed on my old laptop. I have an RTX2000 series GPU. But one area I can’t figure out how to fix or if it is a Bug. I get an awful stutter moments before landing, which is like the worst time to have that.
Anyone know what setting I should look at to fix this?
Airports, especially now streaming in, are a pain in the ■■■ for me. Even the smallest grassy one issues at bit of stuttering. Depending on what time i fly it also makes a difference. And for now, live weather loses me minimum 6 fps when it is cloudy/rainy
Setting a lot of the settings lower made it better but no tip to fix it hard.
I turned down Grass and Rocks to Low. I will see if that fixes it. But yeah. I thought having a nice cache would help. It seems to happen only when you get a few feet to the ground. So it jacks up my flare and touch down.
I have the same problem, it seems to be worse this week than last. My flight is buttery smooth everywhere else (even flying super low in a busy area), but it feels like runways are in a bubble of low FPS stutters. Any time I get near a runway it turns into a slideshow to the point where I can barely control my plane.
It feels like it has gotten worst. I wonder if it is the loading of the destination airport textures. Because if you stay low to the ground before landing it is fine the minute you get close to the runway the stuttering starts
Yeah I turned off bushes, grass and rocks and it still stuttered tremendously when landing. Anyone know what option turns off the runway details? Maybe it is the runway tire marks or something.
I got the same thing on RTX 40 series. The whole flight, from spawning at the gate till approach is smooth. And when i reach 100ft, the FPS drop drastically.
