Hello,
I got my AXAIR easy last week. It took 2 weeks from thailand to germany, excellent!
This little piece of magic solve the last controlling problems I have had.
It complements perfect my other peripherals.
It offers an eight position switch (with nose so the knob position is feelable when you fly VR, top!), an rotary push encoder as well as three single momentary switches.
This are the functions:
CRS
IAS
HDG
ALT
V/S
COM
NAV
QNH
But of course you can map it to any rotary you want.
As I have mapped all the switches like V/S, ALT etc already to my CH throttle quadrant (wont miss that too, it give me 6 throttle axes as well as 12 momentarys and reverse thrust) I bind the Enter key to the nav freq swap function while the push encoder switches between whole and decimals. Finally I can adjust my NAV frequencies easily.
The AXAIR easy works like a charm, a good programming template is provided by the manufacturer.
Here is a little video that shows the function in the TBM 930 but I can control IAS in the 787 the same easy way.
Kudos to the maker, your controllers are awesome. I hope you still won’t let bloodsuckers like Amerzon bite you. Stay proud and self-reliant.
