2nd - You can enable Radio on autopilot and in EADI will be NAV1 and GS1 modes activate automatically (GS when capturing ILS), but i haven’t found APP mode and NAV2 for GNS yet( Maybe APP mode is a NAV1 + GS1 when capturing ILS 
Another possible bug: I can’t switch off the Altitude Hold mode of the autopilot once I switched it on. Pressing the toggle button does nothing, the blue light stays on and the altitude is being held.
The only way to leave the current altitude is to switch off the autopilot altogether. Or am I missing something here?
EDIT: Okay, it doesn’t seem to be a bug. I found it in the manual. So if anyone is wondering the same. It says:
To target a specific altitude, ALT mode should be used. Target altitude can be set from the FMS or the EFB, will be intercepted and maintained as long as autopilot is enabled. In altitude hold mode, vertical speed is managed automatically to intercept selected altitude.
Please note the way ALT mode is implemented in the simulator. Once a target altitude is intercepted, ALT mode cannot be disabled and autopilot will continue intercepting target altitude. To disable this mode, you need to change target altitude first (with or without master autopilot).
One more thing… A few minutes after turning on the batteries and starting the APU all avionics turns off, efb dissapear and nothing else works:( Restart doesn’t help, only exiting in the main menu

Do you use the WT GNS430 Update (1.1.4)? I used to have it installed and on my Blacksquare Caravan the very same error happened that you describe.
1 hour 5 minute flight this morning, 3 touch & go’s , 1 full stop landing, mid air fuel transfer from C to A tanks, no apu or engine cut outs, all done with Tacan Navigation, really enjoyable.

Great, isn’t it? I loved it when it first came out, but now with the tweaks and fixes, it’s absolutely sublime!
While it doesn’t show any weather you can at least switch it on so the screen isn’t blank. Down here on the center pedestal:
i own a lot of 3rd party planes and i am happy with them, for the most part. out of all of them i have a very small number that i feel connected to, like the way the plane responds to inputs and how it flies just feels perfectly natural. this is one of those planes for me.
if azurpoly lives up to what they’ve said about fixes and improvements (and they’ve given me no reason to believe they won’t - they have supported all their other offerings, and yes i own them all) then this plane (imo) will be one of the best in the sim.

Just wish they’d release it on Orbx already. Been patiently waiting as I no longer purchase anything from the Marketplace except Carenado planes, Local Legends, and Famous Flyers. Everything else is outside of the Marketplace for me.
I’m also waiting for it to be available on ORBX. I almost got it from the MP but managed to wait. Really looks like it is something special in MSFS.
