Brief description of the issue:

The gyropilot’s compass (lower half) doesn’t move as aircraft heading is changed. It always indicates 0 degrees.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Turn aircraft towards various headings and note the compass remains stationary at 0 degrees.

I’ve read on the B307 thread that some people say this doesn’t occur if the aircraft is started on the runway.

I always start C&D and this compass has never worked for me.

I suppose I need to start quantifying my bug reports with indicating Cold & Dark. It would seem that there are other issues mentioned on the main B307 thread that only appear when started C&D.

I can confirm that, yes, if you spawn on the runway the compass does work. If you spawn Cold & Dark, the compass does not work.

Is this from the devs? If so they are not reading the plane specific threads. If they did there would be no need for clarification.
If the plane was tested from cold and dark this would have been picked up in minutes. Before release.
My B307 is gathering dust in the hanger. Refund would be nice…

Yes.
I mentioned this earlier, but I didn’t know if it was just a bug or I was doing something wrong.
But Yes If you start on the Runway, the compass works. But starting from Cold and Dark, the compass does not work. I’m using a PC, with Honeycomb Yoke and Throttles. I tried with them unplugged but still the compass isn’t working from Cold and Dark.

staring from cold and dark compass cannot be uncaged. Works when starting hot
