Brief description of the issue:

when flying with the b787 on cruise level I have ugly artifacts in the jet stream coming from my engine exhausts. It looks like big circles fast moving and the exhaust stream starts within the wing (you can see that from the front view). Does anyone else have those ugly glitches and do you know how to get rid of them?

edit: it kept broken even on the ground. Was not there from the beginning of the flight on but did not disappear after landing and on ground then

If you have the AI traffic running, make sure it is set to use the default models, That’s the solution for PMDG with the same effect. Since the B787 is a default in the Premium edition, you might try turning off AI traffic.

where do I set the models used for AI traffic? never seen that before sorry

You can find AI traffic selections under Options > General Options > Traffic. Scroll to the bottom to find these settings:

My settings look like this. What would you suggest to change to tackle those graphics glitches?

Hi, the setting @ProvenSilver mentioned is ‘USE GENERIC AIRCRAFT MODELS (AI TRAFFIC)’. You need to set this to ‘ON’.

Hopefully this workaround will fix your issue

Got it - thank you all.

Interestingly I did a 10-hour flight today and the glitch did not appear, so it seems like it is not always present. Next time it happens I will try your workaround guys.

Now I only gotta figure out how to deploy reverse on touch down as this just won’t work for me on the 787. Just won’t deploy although I have the same keybindings as on every other aircraft where it works flawlessly. Any tips on this issue as well?
