B78X : Does anyone know

Ok, first you wrote that they aren’t in the SOPs, now you write exactly the opposite. I’m confused.

Are you sure that you aren’t misinterpreting the checklist?
E.g. on the 767, 777 etc. it’s part of the preflight checklist to check the APU (and engine) generator switches. They should be already in the ON position.

Perhaps I have… the only thing I notice is that anything after preflight and engine start these switches aren’t even covered in any other state of the (standard) checklists so yes from there (past that) we could say we’ve left them on. Whether they are required to stay on is another.

Since you never turn them OFF, ON is the only remaining option

With a 99% certainty and in line with e.g. the QW 787 checklist, the APU generator switches are staying ON at all times.

Disregard the gaming checklist below.

I got too much stuff on my mind, man

Hopefully this will clarify some things.

Not a real Boeing checklist, not even close.

It does clarify some things, that’s correct, but not about the 787.

Bravo, bud :facepunch: Not a face punch but a fist bump. Gotta roll out.

It’s weird that Boeing has changed almost everything with the 787 checklists.
Some really strange sequence and naming changes.
Beacon lighting, altitude setting…what on earth is going on at Boeing?
APU MASTER KNOB START…that’s against all Boeing naming conventions and logic.

edit: These are NOT original Boeing checklists. You’ve used these game checklists!
NOT cool.

Thank you !!! that was crystal clear ! no possibilities to “argue” that source ! that i didn’t think of searching myself for the checklist is sadening me !!! you’re a pro, thanks again for your help

Aouch, just read your comment AFTER have comment the game checklist here below…

 :joy: No one in their right mind that has access to anything official is going to share documents on a public forum that otherwise are prohibited by federal law to distribute…

No need to be sorry, you are using a sim and now you have a sim checklist to go off of. You can even ignore some of the checklist if you wish. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :facepunch: :sunglasses:

How about “prohibited by company policy and locally-applicable copyright laws” instead?

Enjoy that popcorn in jail.

As an Indonesian: “What locally-applicable copyright laws?” :sunglasses:
We are more likely to go to jail for criticizing (any) religious belief than violating a copyright laws that barely enforced. Hahaha.

So then call it what it is: stealing.

Seriously, this conversation is beyond stupid. If you believe copying and posting an airline’s operating procedures manual is okay, you probably shouldn’t advertise that belief on a forum run by one of the largest tech companies in the world that happens to be based in a country that rigorously enforces intellectual property rights.

What? You don’t know what you are talking about. How can I steal something I own?
Are you aware that there are countless websites where you can officially buy official manuals from?
Is this your first time on a flight sim forum and you have never come across parts from RW manuals?

Completely wrong, but even if this would be the case, it’s ok to intentionally post false info?

Anyway, looking at the way a few particpants in this thread are writing their posts, it’s obvious that this thread can only go south, hence I’m out.
