HI there, I just backed up my MSFS 2020 ,Which Is on my d drive and backed up my c drive with the OS. I ran a test and it worked fine…I didn’t think that some of the files that MSFS needed was on the c: drive. So I backed up both drives. I used Macrium Reflect it saved my life .
FS2020 has about 1.06 GB on the C:\ drive with
the rest of the 109 GB on the D:\ drive.
If you don’t backup C:\ and have a failure,
FS2020 will not load.
This is my C:\ drive with FS2020 on D:
C:\Users"YourUserName"\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Local Cache
