Bad fps in PMDG737-600 and Performance options in MCDU not working

I bought PMDG737-600 to gain some FPS but it seems to have fps similar fps as Inibuilds a320 v2 or Fenix. (about 40fps) I thought I could get with PMDG to somewhere +50.

I have tried to disable FO’s screens and disable EFB, what else I could try to do for better performance?

Also performance options in MCDU don’t work, I’m trying to limit the PFD etc for 1fps but it doesn’t seem to be 1fps.

I have amd ryzen 5, 3600 and GTX 1660super with 32gb ram. I’m ofcourse mainthread limited, but even FBW a320 gives me +50fps so it’s kind a weird.

Latest version of pmdg737-600 and latest version of msfs2020

I think it would be best to report it directly on the PMDG forum. They’ll be able to give you more accurate support regarding their product.

Also, I hope you’re aware that your hardware setup - while functional - is on the low-end side by today’s MSFS standards. A Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1660 Super may have been solid a few years ago but now it can easily be a bottleneck, especially with complex aircraft like PMDG or 3rd party airport.

You mentioned being mainthread limited, which is pretty common with MSFS, but without knowing your in-game settings, it’s hard to judge if this is really a PMDG issue or just a performance ceiling on your system.

On top of that, you’re also missing a DxDiag report, which is essential for proper troubleshooting.

I have replied to you in our forum. Basically, your specs are below what we advise, and no aircraft setting will change that. There are tens of thousands of lines of code that need to be handled, and a $66 CPU just will not be able to do that comfortably.
