The Bank & Yank World Series is an attempt at rally style racing with small planes in tight, winding canyons, valleys or riverbeds. There are only a few symbolic rules to keep it entertaining, but no real prizes are awarded. The tracks are selected from a growing pool of locations from all over the world.

Hop into the MSFS Bush Pilots Discord server in advance, see the :loudspeaker:│bush-trip-events channel for more details, give yourself time to download any recommended addons, grab the flight plan and join the voice channel.

Time & Date: Wednesday, June 7th; 1800 ZULU (20:00 CET)
Server: SOUTH-EAST ASIA
Time & Weather: Live Weather if usable; or Scattered Clouds
Multiplayer Settings: All Players
Comms: Event Flight voice channel
Length: +/-50nm or +/-20 minutes per race

Briefing
Final briefing will be held in the voice channel prior to the release of the flight plan.
Connect to the Event Flight channel and wait on the world map for more details.
Give yourself time to make sure everything is set up before the event.

Hey this sounds cool. I will try and join tonight.

One thing I don’t understand… it says to jump into the Discord channel ahead of time to find what addons we need to grab and install and the flight plan, but there is nothing mentioned for this event?

Yes, sorry, forgot to mention it in the post, I’ll update it.
Go to the #:loudspeaker:│bush-trip-events channel on the discord for all the event details.
For addons and such, there’s the #:open_file_folder:│addons and the #:white_check_mark:│rules-and-faq channels.

So no addons needed for this event? Need VL3 Mod?

I do recommend grabbing the VL3 mod, it may not be used today, but at a later event. Today we are aiming for the XCub.

Hey Herbie, how soon before the stated event time should one be in voice?

5-10 minutes max to the hour should be fine, I think. It’s just a quick briefing like we usually do before a group flight.

Sorry I didn’t make it today… got held up with a reality-thing :slight_smile:

I’ll definitely keep an eye for the next one though. I installed the VL3 mod ready and everything!
