Baro Bug?

I have only flown around KIXD in the central US.
Today I flew TBM930 northeast over the Great Lakes to Canada.
The strange thing is,
The default ATC keeps sending me alerts telling me I am about 400ft too high and to lower my altitude.
I was wondering if there is a bug that prevents the baro gauge from working properly in the northern regions.

You’re above FL180. Set the barometric pressure to 29.92.

Looks like you’re at 19,000 feet but not using standard barometric pressure (29.92 inHg / 1013 hPa). Although the transition altitude varies by locations, ATC pretty much uses 18,000 feet as the transition altitude everywhere.

The difference in barometric pressure can easily put you several hundred feet above or below your expected flight level. Just use the shortcut key “,” to set your barometric pressure when you transiton 18,000 feet / FL180 and it will set this for you.
